Writer, producer, director PAUL CURRIE started his career producing commercials and live events before moving in to TV series and feature films.

Early in his career he wrote, produced and directed ONE PERFECT DAY which was nominated for 8 AFI awards. He has since directed numerous feature and TV documentaries, as well as TV series including TWENTY-SOMETHING for the ABC. He exec produced RAMPART and MAX ROSE and produced the fantasy adventure film THE KING’S DAUGHTER. In 2017 he produced the Academy and AACTA Award-winning HACKSAW RIDGE, and then produced the largest Chinese film ever shot in Australia BLEEDING STEEL.

More recently he produced and directed the feature film 2:22 and also produced the Australian Chinese Co-Production THE LONGEST SHOT.
In 2004 Paul was nominated for Australian of the Year for co-founding Reach Youth, a charity that has affected the lives of over 1 million young Australians.
